My wife is right there with them waiting for the new Twilight Series book to come out. I’m just chilling at home. I don’t get what the big deal is with those books.
I find it fascinating how certain products, movies, songs, websites and BOOKS can just catch on fire. I KNOW that there is nothing special about those Twilight books. But somehow, some way, they caught on. People just feed off others’ excitement. It’s like when neighborhood dogs bark. When one barks…another barks….then another…etc They all feed right into the barking frenzy. And before you know it the whole neighborhood is barking. People are just like dogs — as soon as the first dog barks, all the dogs bark.
I need to go back and read the Tipping Point again. It’s been awhile. Still…I just don’t get why so many girls are obsessed with Edward and those darn Vampire books. Blah. People need to read more. Hello! There are better books.
